ATC 009 is developed for Sheathing / Jacketing of Fiber Optical cables designed for installation under high voltage power transmission lines. The compound may also be used for other applications, where thermoplastic track resistance materials can be applied. It can resist severe installation conditions and service conditions even at elevated ambient temperatures by not allowing ionizing of the polymer.

The compound is recommended to be used where the cables are directly laid below or side-by-side to the high tension power lines.
